Danes primerjamo dve priljubljeni poletni pnevmatiki: Firestone Roadhawk in Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance. Obe pnevmatiki sta se izkazali na številnih testih, zato si poglejmo rezultate in ugotovimo njune prednosti in slabosti.
Firestone Roadhawk je na naši spletni strani dosegel skupno oceno 71%. Uspešno se je odrezal na testih Autokluba ČR in ADAC, kjer je zasedel 11. oz. 4. mesto od 16 do 19 pnevmatik. Pnevmatika je izstopala po suhem voznem vedenju, varnosti in zaviranju na mokri podlagi. V testu revije Autobild je zasedla 3. mesto med 51 primerjanimi pnevmatikami. Vendar pa Firestone Roadhawk ni bil zamenjan z nobeno novejšo različico.
Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance pa se je izjemno dobro odrezal, saj je dosegel izjemno oceno 88%. V testu Autokluba ČR se je uvrstil na 8. mesto, kjer so še posebej cenili njegovo suho obnašanje, v testu ADAC pa na 12. mesto, s svojimi odličnimi lastnostmi pri križnem in vzdolžnem akvaplaningu. Poleg tega se je pri testu revije Autobild uvrstil na 11. mesto.
Pomembno je omeniti, da je Goodyear že predstavil naslednika Efficient Grip Performance – Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2, ki naj bi ponujal še boljše zmogljivosti.
Na kratko, obe pnevmatiki sta se dobro izkazali na različnih testih. Medtem ko Firestone Roadhawk izstopa po suhem voznem vedenju, varnosti in zaviranju na mokri podlagi, ima Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance boljše ocene v celokupnih testih ter se še posebej izkaže pri krmiljenju po suhi podlagi in pri križnem ter vzdolžnem akvaplaningu. Poleg tega, ima Goodyear že predstavljen novejšo različico, ki je verjetno še izboljšana.
